  1. A flying dog? Fine, but a flying toaster? On my computer? Unbelievable!

    • Thanks! I always like comics that slip in the odd asterisk’d footnote to reference past stories. Plus, sooner or later the talking dog of the future will make an appearance around here, too…

  4. Um, don’t I remember something about a corndog in Watusi’s not too distant past? Hope that wasn’t foreshadowing on your part, Dale! Great strip today as always!

  5. I loved it Dale. Sorry I couldn’t read it sooner, I was busy with school and other things.

  6. What I found cool was that with your layout, the dialogue made sense when you went in the traditional 1-2-3-4 (top left, top right, lower left, lower right) sequence, and also made sense if you went with the intended circular flow of 1-2-4-3 (top left, top right, lower right, lower left) sequence. That’s impressive! In manga books I find the right-to-left disconcerting and difficult to follow, but when it works either way like this one does, that’s what I call winning and reader friendly!

    • When I decided to do the circular layout, I knew I wanted to have dialogue that could be read from any direction. Glad to know it worked!
