“Don’t leave without your parting gifts” -or- There’s magic in the air (part 13 of 13)

    1. Glad to give them a little stage time on the road, even tho Watusi’s action takes us away from the main stage…

    1. Well, Watusi did have a pretty good partnership with Emmett, didn’t he? Something for me to think about, I guess…

  1. After rereading the strip, I hope the slightly balding, sunglasses-wearing MC guy becomes a recurring character in the strip. Maybe Polly’s loser ex-boyfriend or something. He seems the type or am I reading way too much into a throwaway character?

    1. Maybe, maybe not. I really liked the look of him, too (he could be the local “celebrity” DJ), and regretted I couldn’t use him in the next strip … but it didn’t make sense for him to get backstage so soon.

What am I thinking, trying to make things “make sense”…

  2. Local “celebrity” DJ could be comedy gold! Watusi could go on his show, becomes popular with the listeners and ends up taking over the guy’s job. Hilarity ensues!
