“Don’t leave without your parting gifts” -or- There’s magic in the air (part 13 of 13)

While Watusi won’t be able to stick around and listen to the Infinity Five, you can catch them online every week in Mike Sullivan’s comic, “There’s Something Happening in Crawford, Kansas”!

    • Glad to give them a little stage time on the road, even tho Watusi’s action takes us away from the main stage…

  2. I heard in the old days Mick Magick gave away a life time supply of Turtle Wax as a parting gift.

  3. What else can Watusi be mesmerized into doing? If he hangs out with Mr. Mick Magick, they could make quite a team! Even a super-rific team!?!

    • Well, Watusi did have a pretty good partnership with Emmett, didn’t he? Something for me to think about, I guess…

  5. Thanks! I suspect Mick’s influence in this story isn’t over yet…

  6. After rereading the strip, I hope the slightly balding, sunglasses-wearing MC guy becomes a recurring character in the strip. Maybe Polly’s loser ex-boyfriend or something. He seems the type or am I reading way too much into a throwaway character?

    • Maybe, maybe not. I really liked the look of him, too (he could be the local “celebrity” DJ), and regretted I couldn’t use him in the next strip … but it didn’t make sense for him to get backstage so soon.

What am I thinking, trying to make things “make sense”…

  7. Local “celebrity” DJ could be comedy gold! Watusi could go on his show, becomes popular with the listeners and ends up taking over the guy’s job. Hilarity ensues!

  8. That’s funny, Tom Dale that was AWESOME! ;D
