“Get a move on!”

I guess nobody ever told Watusi it was impolite to talk with your mouth full!

“You probably saw this coming…”

Not that he wasn’t already on Watusi’s bad side, implying that Watusi– an emancipated dog– is just someone’s pet is bound to be bad news for Vice Provost Kitsch!!

I’ve been planning to use that line all along, and this turned out to be the right place for it! Just how long have I been planning to use it, you ask? Well, judging by this sketchbook entry, from the very beginning:

“How to make an entrance”

Uh oh! It looks like Watusi & Minerva took a mite too long to convince the Scarecrow to help them!

“Making the case”

Let’s hope their tale can change the Scarecrow’s mind!

With Thanksgiving just a few days away, I want to take a moment to express my thanks to all my readers– I’m truly grateful for each and every one of you who take the time to check in on Watusi’s adventures every week. Knowing that you’re waiting for a new episode keeps me motivated to do my best each week…

… even when, like this week, I have a lot on my plate. And that’s not some Thanksgiving pun, either– I’ve been busy finishing up and stocking my booth for the Memphis Arts Collective Holiday Market! I’m excited about this year’s show and our new location in the Crosstown Concourse! If you can, don’t miss out on this show, featuring over 30 artists and artisans from the Mid South showing and selling unique handcrafted items you won’t find anywhere else! It’ll be up from this Friday through January 3, 2019, so you’ll have lots of opportunity to shop local, support local artists, and have FUN!

Watch my Twitter feed for announcements of when I’ll be at the market; it’s your chance to get comics signed or just chat with me about my art. Hope to see you there!
