  2. Nice pun in the first panel. And I imagine it will be a LONG time before Mitchell lets Watusi live this down. Although, if it turns out later that Mitchell has a connection to the crime, or knowledge of it, even if he didn’t do it himself, then Watusi will have been at least partially correct.

    1. Thanks! I was pretty happy with the writing there, and in the fight scene a couple of weeks ago. As physical as it was, this sequence has been a nice development of the Watusi/Mitchell feud (at least for me)…

  3. I hope this little episode doesn’t unfavorably effect Watusi and Prof. Harvey’s friendship. Although Mitchell would surely be pleased if Watusi and Harvey no longer remained as close as they used to due to Watusi’s overeagerness to find a culprit. It would be a cruel little twist if at story’s end Watusi finds his watch, but loses a friend in the bargain.

    1. That would certainly be an unerstandable twist, but I don’t think I could be so cruel– or the Professor would hold a grudge for that long. But this sequence’s ramifications does lead to a future storyline … of course we’ve got to figure out the whole thing with this watch first!
