Looks like the stories within the story are headed somewhere after all (the center tier reads better in conjunction with the center of last week’s strip, by the way)! Check back next week to see what’s in store for our travelers – in the mean time, here’s a little Halloween comic I had the pleasure of drawing for my friend Brien Wayne Powell. It’s called “Frankenstein’s Wrestler”, and I was pretty happy with it. Hope you enjoy!
P.S. – I forgot to remind you that you can see me in person at this Saturday’s Comic Book I-Con in Altoona, Iowa. Mention you’ve been following the strip and I’ll have some sort of freebie for you! Plus on Sunday, you can bid on my original artwork at the Douglas County AIDS Project’s Red Ribbon Art Auction. If you can’t make the event, you can still get a peek at my painting donated to the event – it’s in the Prairie Pond Studio & Bead Company’s storefront at 809 Mass Street (along with other art up for auction)!
Three storylines in one strip! Not even Apartment 3-G can pull that off! Plus I dug your Magnet Man comic (I really like the way you draw MM) and I owe you an e-mail concerning the latest Watusi comic book (Sneak preview: Three Thumbs Up!). Your productivity continues to put me in shame!

Wow! I’m doing something better than Apt. 3-G! If I’m not careful, I’ll end up in the papers (at a much curtailed size and format)!

Hey Dale! Another top notch strip. I was hoping they would be airborne for a while, but I wasn’t expecting to get two nifty extra flashback stories out of the deal! Can’t wait to see where Watusi ends up! Thanks for mentioning the Halloween comic & especially thanks for doing such a beautiful job on it! Glad you enjoyed it too Tom!

Glad you (and so many others) are enjoying the trip – I wanted to do more than just having them take off, then the next panel read “after their flight, they touch down in Isla Esmerelda”! And it was my pleasure to do another Magnet Man comic; I got a real kick out of “Blob Sandwich”, too – funny stuff!

The story is coming along nicely – I like that the earlier parts are still on the same page so I can catch up easily. And the e-mail reminder is GREAT, cuz otherwise I know it would be a month or so between visits. The mini-golf hole also looks very cool. I’ll see you this weekend at the I-Con show in Altoona.

It was good to see you at the I-Con! I had a really fun time there; it continues to be one of my favorite shows, and everyone involved does so much to make the artists feel like superstars.
